Technology Explained

The Deal Coin is based on the Ethereum ERC827 protocol, a blockchain based distributed computing platform.

ERC827 allows for smart contracts, distributed computer programs that can facilitate online contractual agreements in a cryptographically secure manner.

Ethereum is open source and adopted by institutions like JP Morgan, Deloitte, IBM, Santander Bank, Microsoft, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Toyota.

Smart contracts enable the existence of The Deal Coin Solution, as a truly transparent and decentralized peer to peer lending platform.

Smart contracts are essentially computer programs that run on a distributed public ledger, therefore ensuring their result is always consistent, transparent and cannot be manipulated.

This technology allows The Deal Coin Solution to remove the need for intermediaries or a central authority and takes full advantages of the blockchain technology.

The Deal Coin only uses the blockchain for baseline data, that way, it eliminates the capability for fraud, by creating transparency during critical events, this in turn reduces risk.

The Deal Coin Solution

Borrower & Investor

The borrower completes the application form via our Decentralised Application (DAPP), supplying additional information to ensure compliance with our KYC & AML policy.

The DAPP connects securely to the Deal Lending Solution Database (DSD), where the information supplied is processed and triggers a number of tasks awaiting verification.

Initially these requests will look to complete the following tasks;

• Asset verification and tokenization
• Ensuring that the assets are valid and valued against the potential loan through our asset tokenization partners.
• Application/Contract underwriting
• Smart insurance ensuring that application and contract are protected.
• Identity Verification
• Confirmation of the KYC information supplied by the borrower.
• The DAPP has the capability to work with any number of partners both via blockchain or traditional API connection.
• Once all tasks are returned verified, the borrower is notified and their application is listed within the DSD and displayed via our DAPP for ease of use for the potential investors.

Users who intend to lend on the platform must initially complete the KYC information to participate within the DSD Ecosystem, once the information is confirmed as a verified task, the lenders have the ability to view and communicate with borrowers via the DSD.

Platform users connecting seamlessly with borrowers globally, are able to discuss rate or terms acceptable to both parties.
