Before I explain about KICKICO completely.
First I explain what is ICO?
ICO is a fundraising effort to build applications related to Blockchain and its implementations such as cryptocurrency, bitcoin, smart contract and smart ledger. ICO offers a number of tokens to investors that are usually valued by Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin.
Since the late 2000s, when Kickstarter (2009) and Indiegogo (2008) were launched, the world has been watching the rise of crowdfunding. Many project creators believe that crowdfunding platforms are just a simple way to raise funds for a project without needing to attract fickle VC investment.
VISION
The crypto-revolution that is happening now will change things, facilitating fundraising and making it as easy and simple as it is supposed to be. Decentralization, crypto-currency, and smart-contracts are the new solutions for a project to raise funds.
KICKICO is the first up-and-running blockchain fundraising platform that offers comprehensive solutions for ICOs, crowdfunding, and crowdinvesting.
- We provide fundraisers with everything they need: technical solutions, including smart-contracts, marketing outreach, and also advisory and management expertise, all driven by our team of 20 fundraising experts.
- We provide all projects' backers with a bonus in addition to the tokens they get and we protect them from unfeasible projects by studying every project's potential and getting the expert analysis of our advisors (experts in different fields).
- KICKICO and all the projects within its ecosystem form the Kickonomy, a space powered by KickCoins that perform a variety of utility roles for users and creators.
- We are transparent: KickCoin is controlled by the KickCoin fund, which is independent and ruled by the community
MISSION
Our mission is help innovators, game developers, entrepreneurs, designers, and other future-thinking creators to bring their ideas to reality regardless to their location, origin, or socio-economic status. Unlike many other blockchain start-ups, we have a working product and not just a roadmap. We will be up and running by October, 2017.
KICKCOIN
KickCoins is generated by smart contracts automatically when supporters support campaigns launched on the platform. Therefore, KickCoins is never 'made from thin air' but is always supported by other currencies, as well as successful campaigns completed on the platform. In addition, KickCoins will never experience excessive surplus. They are always supported not only by other currencies but with their own campaigns, and only by those that are successfully completed on the platform.
The only exception is the early start of the KickCoins generation. A total of 800 million KickCoins have been generated, including 30 million for preICO, and 600 million for ICO. Another 100 million have been generated and shared between KICKICO founders, and the rest have been generated for advisors, sweepstakes, bounties, seed investors and PR pools. KickCoins is not mined by other users or companies.
KickCoins are used in Kickonomy
An important part of KICKONOMY is how KickCoins is used to create currency circulation and create supply and demand mechanisms.
KickCoins is useful in many cases of use in ecosystems on the following platforms:
1. For writers
- Payments for eligible review of campaigns from selected community sets.
- Draft moderation as a low-cost source (only symbolic) for the middle ground of a campaign. Part of the fee will be allocated to the quality checking moderator.
- Each campaign runs as a middle ground before it launches. Originally made by platform officers, moderation will be made by those chosen by the public as well as by campaign advisers.
- Paying smart contracts-the creation of smart contracts for tokens and crowdsale also cost money.
- There are different types of digestibility such as daily, hot, community choices, editor choices, best week, etc.
- Payment for translation and proofreading services as a global success benchmark required by many languages.
- Payments for creative content as visual assets, video assets, voice overrides, and creatives are critical to a project you want to be aware of.
- Payments for community advisory services as support for getting your project from qualified advisors and raising attention to campaigns.
- pay for the actions of community members to spread the word about the campaign as an automatic gift.
2. For the community
- The selection of community advisors as a vote for advisors requires a symbolic amount as a form that has voted.
- Choosing a moderator-the same as before, choosing a moderator requires a symbolic amount to vote.
- Voting for a project is an additional option for a campaign to gain a higher position and become a 'community choice' campaign.
- Social benefits - this is actually for fun, some decorations, like 'avatar golden frame'. This can be an unusual special writing in comments, user profile backgrounds, or anything else that lasts for a certain period of time.
- Payments as penalties set by moderators - fines for oath, spam, flood, indecent acts, and other actions that violate the code of ethics. The number of penalties may increase if an inappropriate action is repeated by the user.
- Virtual gifts - the option to exchange interactive gifts among users on the platform, such as flowers, a glass of tea, a lucky ticket or something else.
The following are functional specifications for users:
1. Registration
All users must be registered on the platform to perform any activity. Registration is a standard process via email, or you can login via Facebook, Google, Twitter.
2. KickCoin Wallet (KCW)
All platform users have their own unique wallets that are created automatically. If the user requests, their wallet can be replaced with a different ID, which may be required if the user access to their wallet is lost altogether. The password for the newly created wallet is the same as the user account on the platform, but can be changed if the user wants it.
3, Supporters
Users who support any campaign on the platform receive support status. Backers can be creators at once. If supporters support campaigns that have their own cryptocurrency or token, then they will be sent to the supporting etereum wallet.
4. Anonymous mode
Some supporters may want to remain anonymous. In this case, they will be able to enable 'Anonymous mode' in their profile settings, after other users can not see it, and when they make their appointment their avatar, their first and last name are hidden. - Creators and users can only see that certain amount of money has been promised at certain times by some anonymous users. However, anonymous users can not post comments or send messages to creators when they are in anonymous mode. If the user disables anonymous mode, all previous actions remain anonymous. Similarly, comments or actions performed by a user in non-anonymous mode do not become anonymous if this feature is enabled in settings.
5. Creator
Creators are users who create their own campaigns. After creating the campaign, the user becomes the creator and receives the appropriate status and access. To avoid misunderstandings and improve the quality of platform content, the same creator can only create one campaign launched at a time but can generate drafts. The draft that has passed the moderation is 'Public Draft' and will be listed on the 'Public Draft' page. If the creator has set a launch date, they will 'Upcoming' and will appear on the 'Upcoming' page or main page, depending on the platform development stage.
6. User privacy
No personal user data is available to other users or moderators working on the platform. This list includes but is not limited to: email, wallet, or funds available to users, as well as direct links to accounts on social networks, even on user forms. Senior moderators can view transactions performed on the platform.
Stages of the campaign
Each campaign will undergo the following selection of work planning stages:
1. Concept
Users create a new campaign and complete all necessary fields for the campaign description and add all the materials such as presentations, whitepapers, teams, and other necessary information;
2. Moderation pending
Campaigns are submitted for review and moderated by platform teams. A manager is assigned to guide the campaign and comment on the required improvements. The campaign will be returned to the creator if important data about the campaign description or something that is not clear or poorly presented, ie team, whitepaper, and others;
3. General Concepts
The campaign becomes visible to all platform users in 'Public Draft' so that creators can gather more feedback from people and work to improve more campaigns that will help them succeed;
4. Ready to launch
Each campaign has met all requirements for launch, has created a crowdsale contract and launched enough marketing and public relations activities to attract supporters;
5. Continue
Each campaign is launched and everyone can participate. The campaign appears in the current section;
6. Done
By the time the campaign finishes or continues into this section with other completed campaigns.
Running ICO or pre-ICO
This platform is ideal for running ICO campaigns. It happened like this:
- A creator gets registered on the platform, and creates their campaign where they describe what it is about, how and for whom it works, its principles, and then adds images and video materials, if any.
- Then the creator adds their token or cryptocurrency in the settings of their pre-ICO or ICO campaign. This token is made by the creator themselves, but later KICKICO will also offer an opportunity to create a token for them they will only need to select its name and specify the desired parameters.
- Also, the creator can specify the duration of the campaign and its purpose (collect 1,000 ETH, sell 10,000 tokens, or simply the duration of the campaign).
- Next, the creator sets rewards and specifies how much each of them costs in ETH and how many of their own tokens they will give in every case. For example, they can give 100 of their tokens for 1 ETH and 1,200 of them for 10 ETH, thus creating a system of discounts and lucrative offers.
Crowdfunding
If we check crowdfunding, everything is easier for the creator and looks almost the same as on any other platform:
- Creators will be listed on the platform and create their campaigns where they describe what the problem is, how and for whom it works, adding image and video material, if any.
- Creators can then specify the duration of their campaign, type (All or None or Safe) and the goal (e.g., collect 1000 ETH).
- Next, the creator creates an award, determines how much each will cost in the ETH, and explains what the recipient will receive when the campaign is finished or the product is released.
- Then the campaign goes through moderation and launches on the platform at the time specified by the creator. After the campaign is over, the creators receive all the accumulated funds, and their supporters receive KickCoins as a form of insurance if the creators do not keep their promises.
Here are the technical specifications:
1. Smart contract
KickCoins are manufactured according to the ERC20 specification of the Ethereal blockchain. The exact information about our smart contracts will be added soon - we're working on it right now.
2. Security of funds
Platform employees do not have access to the user's wallet. Funds put forward by campaigns and stored in their unique purses are controlled by smart contracts automatically. After the fundraising is complete, all funds are automatically transferred to the wallet determined by the campaign creator, and 2.5 or 4% of the amount will be transferred to the KICKICO platform wallet. Platform employees do not have access to unique campaign wallets and can not transfer from them.
KickCoins is generated and issued automatically as well, and only after receipt of contributions to the campaign's smart contract, be it ET or BTC, confirmed. It protects KickCoins from fraud and supports all KickCoins with real money values.
3. User Security
Only account owners have access to their wallets. Passwords to the account are not stored on the site, with hashing used for quick login. Users can save passwords to their wallets on platforms or delete them for security reasons. In this case, the user must enter the password into their wallet, which is not stored on the platform
4. KICKICO, for every transfer and promise.
Links in the user profile to social networks, email, and other contact information are only visible to the account owner and hidden from other users.
Only moderators of high-end platforms and developers have access to links to user-related social networks, as well as access to their contact information. Moderators do not have access to their user's wallet, full ID, or password.
5. Confidentiality
Transfers made by users are recorded in the system and encrypted. The user wallet is also encrypted on the platform, and its relationship to the user profile is minimized as much as possible. Only KICKICO platform developers can connect wallets to platform users (except for creators, of course). This may be necessary to resolve disputes or answer questions from users if they occur.
To ensure the security of supporters and investors, creators who raise funds on the KICKICO platform should be public and provide more information to them. As long as the campaigns they create are active, the creator can not enable anonymous mode. After the campaign is over, the creator can switch to anonymous mode, but the creator's public information determined by them when the campaign is launched will remain visible on the completed campaign page (including the canceled one).
All personal user data, including passwords, emails, and wallet IDs, is encrypted. It protects KICKICO users from hacking or information leaks. Even in the worst scenarios, user data, passwords, and wallets will remain secure, as no access to them or money transfers from them is possible.
